LIGHTHOUSE HIKE & OPEN HOUSE -
Piedras Blancas Light Station Association will be sponsoring another hike-in open house on Wednesday, August 31st. The Piedras Blancas Light Station will be open from 10am to 2pm. This is a free event, and donations will be gladly accepted.

PIEDRAS BLANCAS LIGHTHOUSE TOURS -
From SEPT. 1-JUNE14th tours are offered Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday. From June 15 - August 31st. tours are offered Monday through Saturday. No reservations needed for groups less than 10 people. No tours offered on federal holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, etc.) $10 adults, $5 ages 6-17, no fee for ages 5 and under. Tours last about 2 hours and include a 1/2 mile of easy walking. Visitors meet at 9:45 a.m. at the former Piedras Blancas Motel located 1.5 miles north of the light station on Highway 1. Do not wait at the gate to the light station! Wheelchairs and strollers are available upon request. No pets. Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather. WALK THE BLUFF TRAIL -
Aug. 6 - Sep. 24 and Oct. 23. Walk the Bluff Trail with a docent from Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Enjoy gorgeous ocean views as we learn about the flowering plants, animals, seaweed, the Native American history of the area, and more. We might even sight some sea mammals during our walk. Bring binoculars, if you have them. Children welcome with adult supervision. The walk will be about two miles on level ground. The walk begins at 10AM and will be about two hours. JILL KNIGHT TO PLAY BENEFIT CONCERT FOR GREENSPACE - 3-5 PM
Jill Knight will perform a benefit concert for Greenspace at the Creekside Reserve, 2264 Center Street in Cambria. A local favorite for many years, Jill's soaring voice and engaging songs will have you from the first note. Please bring your own seating. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. We also will raffle a beautiful piece of original art by a local artist and lunch at one of our favorite local restaurants! $10 at the gate. Please, no smoking. Dogs on lease only. Come join us for this end-of-summer treat and help Greenspace acquire new reserve properties, provide community-wide environmental education and help protect our creeks, forests, open spaces and marine environments!
