The Coastal Discovery Center at San Simeon Bay is an interactive interpretive center cooperatively operated between the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and California State Parks. Located at San Simeon Bay across from the entrance to Hearst Castle, the Center offers interactive exhibits and public education programs that highlight the cultural, historical and natural history of the Central Coast. The Center is open weekdays 12-5pm/ on Fridays-Sundays from 11-5pm, and offers interactive programs on Saturday mornings during the summer, and hosts the Coastal Discovery Fair on July 21st from 10-4pm.
