Scarecrow Festival 
2014 Cambria Scarecrow Festival Presented by the Communities of Cambria and San Simeon. For the entire month of October, hundreds of artfully crafted scarecrows are displayed throughout the seaside villages of Cambria and San Simeon. It is truly a case of whimsy running rampant! Hearst Castle Evening Tours - Hearst Castle San Simeon
On most Friday and Saturday evenings. Tours run through October 3 thru December 31.Hearst Castle will feature the Living History Program that emphasizes the bygone lifestyle of this great estate. Allow two hours and ten minutes for this tour. Meet at the former Piedras Blancas located 1 1/1 miles north of light station at 9:45 a.m. Do not wait at the gate to the lighthouse. $10 for adults. $5 for ages 6 and up./ Free for children 5 and under. Piedras Blancas Light Station Twilight Tour 5:15, 5:30, 5:45, and 6:00 p.m. Piedras Blancas Light Station is pleased to announce a Twilight Tour on Saturday, October 18th. Twilight tours feature guides in period attire, historic enactments, and sunset viewing. Tours last 2 hours. The fee is $15 for adults, $5 for ages 6-17, and Free for ages 5 or under.
