The Pinedorado Parade will be on Main Street September 1st, 2012. The parade will start promptly at 9:30 am at Main and Bridge Street and end at Main and Windsor. Please come and celebrate this wonderful event and enjoy the many activities afterward, including the Car Show on Sunday and entertainment at the Pinedorado grounds and the Veterans Hall on Main Street. www.pinedorado.com

Sept 1 - 3 Pewter Plough Playhouse Extends, Live On Stage, "The Woman In Black" - Main Street at Sheffield St, West Village. The gripping and highly acclaimed ghost story/thriller has been held over for only three more performances. The play, written by Stephen Mallatratt, has been running to sold out houses and has received exceptional praise. Only three times remaining to see this popular show on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 1, 2 and 3 , all at 7:30 pm. Thursday and Friday at $15 and Saturday at $18/20. Tours are offered Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, excluding Federal holidays. Meet at he former Piedras Blancas Motel, located 1 1/1 miles north of light station at 9:45 a.m. Do not wait at the gate to the lighthouse. $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-17, and free for children 5 and under.. "Mourning Our Loss, Celebrating Our Heroes" - 6:30pm Vets' Hall Cambria
September 11th Memorial Service “Mourning Our Loss, Celebrating Our Heroes” Join the Sons of the American Legion at 6:30pm at the Vet’s Hall to remember the losses and heroic acts of that tragic day in 2001. In addition to patriotic songs and words of inspiration, representatives of the Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department and Ambulance Service will help us remember the ultimate sacrifice of their New York counterparts. We will also have a traditional ‘candle lighting’ ceremony that will give the public the opportunity to show their own gratitude for the services provided by these people. Free Hot Dog and Hamburger BBQ to follow!

"Lunatics in Love! or Singing In the Reign (of terror) - 7:30 p.m. Main Street at Sheffield St in the West Village
A live costumed comedy and bizarre twist on the events of the French Revolution, including a bluesy live music score performed during the show, it's an outrageous story about aristocrats who escaped the guillotine by paying their way into a posh and outlandish mental hospital where the partying is nonstop as long as they avoid detection! Produced by Espressivo Chamber Theatre, with a cast of seven, with accompaniment by playwright and musician Devin Wallace and Cambria's own Scott Wright on sax and flute.
