Piedras Blancas Lighthouse Tour -
From SEPT. 1-JUNE14th tours are offered Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday. From June 15 - August 31st. tours are offered Monday through Saturday. No reservations needed for groups less than 10 people. No tours offered on federal holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, etc.) $10 adults, $5 ages 6-17, no fee for ages 5 and under. Tours last about 2 hours and include a 1/2 mile of easy walking. Visitors meet at 9:45 a.m. at the former Piedras Blancas Motel located 1.5 miles north of the light station on Highway 1. Do not wait at the gate to the light station! Wheelchairs and strollers are available upon request. No pets. Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Saturday, Sept. 12, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 28 local and statewide carvers will display and sell their art. Competition at 1:00 p.m. both days, raffle for individual carvings plus a silent auction for a featured carving; tools and supplies will be available for purchasing.
