What’s going on now…

Reminder: The workspace is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every week until October 1. It will be closed on July 4th for the holiday.

A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who have been showing up every week to refresh and create scarecrows! You are the backbone of the festival, and we are so very grateful for your support.

VERY IMPORTANT!! Don’t forget to take a picture of your scarecrow after giving it the Shake Test. Also, please complete the Scarecrow Form. This year it is all on one page so don’t forget to cut the bottom portion off and pin to your completed scarecrow. The top part goes into the envelope on the back wall that says “Completed Forms”. That top part is for our inventory and the bottom is for the

name tag that will go on each and every scarecrow. Thank you for your help with this!!

Upcoming…

Scarecrow Summer Soiree - CANCELLED: Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming fundraiser Scarecrow Summer Soiree, originally scheduled for July 12, due to lower-than-expected ticket sales. The festival will still occur in October so keep creating and refreshing those scarecrows!

Yes, that’s right! We will be selling Scarecrow merchandise at our first

pop-up. We have designed some very cool-looking hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts. Come see us at the Scarecrow workspace to get your official Scarecrow merch!

Children’s Workshop:

Stay tuned for the August date!

This workshop is offered in conjunction with the Cambria Center for the Arts’ Youth Program. It will be geared toward children in grades 1-8. They will be making dogs that will be displayed in town. If you have never helped out with this class, consider joining the fun!
