I am very excited to be the newest member of the Cambria Chamber of Commerce Staff! My previous experience includes working as Director of Membership for the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce , circa 2016-2019. My goal is to be the friendly face for all Chamber members and all events designed for Cambria , as well as the listening ear for suggestions and ideas. My door is always open—my phone is always ready for a chat. I am available to “link arms” with all businesses and residents to create even more success stories in Cambria, the storybook town.
My best memory of Cambria:
Watching my family collect moonstones and jade on Moonstone Beach on their recent trip to visit the Central Coast—home to Nana!
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
The very first time that I vacationed in Cambria, it was to attend the Art and Wine Festival in January …. And what a fabulous event it was!! It will always remain in my heart as the best introduction to Cambria, as a village full of warm and inviting people with so much to offer! Pines, beaches, stones, unique shopping experiences and food to please every palate!

I have been working in the Chamber office for at least 14 years and enjoy every day of it. I love hearing the interesting questions from our visitors, answering those questions and recommending the appropriate Chamber business to accommodate their needs.
And, of course, everyone says they would love to live here!
My best memory of Cambria:
The "good ole' days" when I first moved here in the 1980's. Of course, I was a lot younger then, too!
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
For me and most locals it would be the Fiscalini Ranch and San Simeon Cove. But, for visitors, you have to see the elephant seals, Hearst Castle, and maybe a zebra or two.
Plus, we have fabulous restaurants and wonderful shops.

The best part of serving on the Board:
I enjoy getting to meet and hearing the concerns of other business leaders. I can tend to get lost in the activities of my business and being on the board broadens my vision as to events and other types of businesses in Cambria.
My best memory of Cambria:
The best memory would be driving into the village with our caravan of kids and belongings realizing that this would be our forever home. It has turned out to be way more than we ever expected.
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria is the winding, beautiful country drive on Santa Rosa Creek Road. This road used to be old Highway 46 until they relocated it to Green Valley in the early 1970's, the only way to the coast from the Salinas Valley. It showcases the variety of agriculture and old farmhouses of the original settlers and is a great place to hike, bike or drive. We enjoy it daily as we claim it as the road to our home.

It brings me great joy to work towards finding ways to help our community. The exchange of different ideas and perspectives is inspiring.! Certainly have reached a point in my life where my true joy comes from service above self and extending that hand to others. Also, learning so much from those on this board, gaining their insights and ideas.
My best memory of Cambria:
There are so many but, so thankful for our neighbors who have become family to us. We try and eat together almost every Sunday night and there is something truly special in being around a dinner table with food and friends, it feeds my soul. New memories created every week! Cambria is home.
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
The hike at San Simeon Cove, along the coast. (right outside of Cambria) The walk never gets old. It is the best of Mother Nature as you hike through different microhabitats, worth taking your lunch in a backpack and finding a rock to sit down on, the ocean never disappoints! Hard to give just one place, so many special spots.

There’s nothing more rewarding than supporting the small businesses that give our town its unique charm and helping our community thrive. Cambria is more than just a place to live and work—it’s a special gem on the Central Coast, filled with incredible people, creativity, and heart. Being able to promote tourism, connect to local businesses, and contribute to the growth of our beautiful town is truly an honor. I love Cambria, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to give back to the place I call home.
My best memory of Cambria:
Vacationing in Cambria as a kid. We would rent a house for a week and explore everything Cambria had to offer. We’d spend a lot of the time climbing the rocks along the shore hunting for seashell as well as going on hikes. We couldn’t wait to shop and find someplace fun to eat for lunch. I remember going out to Linn’s Farm and buying fruit and meeting the dogs and speaking with John Linn……that was over 40 years ago.
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
The hikes in Cambria and San Simeon are amazing! The Fiscalini Ranch along the cliffs is a must. A favorite not everyone knows about is just up the road in San Simeon near the pier. You have to walk along the beach to get to the starting point of the hike and it’s well worth the sand in your shoes. Best views of the ocean and shoreline and if you’re really lucky, you may run into a bull.

My best memory of Cambria:
One of my favorite memories is the first time I discovered Moonstone Beach—a place I had never seen before. As I rounded the corner, I was completely taken aback by its breathtaking beauty and picturesque scenery. Even today, I never take its beauty for granted
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
There is a short trail that goes up the hill on the south side of Moonstone Beach, offering a stunning panoramic view of the coastline and surrounding hills. If you look closely, you can even spot an old Indian grinding hole nestled in the outcropping of rocks.

The best part of serving on the Board:
We visited Cambria in the summer of 2025 and were so taken by the natural beauty of the community and the countryside that we made the move from Manhattan Beach that same
summer. Well, we came for the natural beauty and were even more taken by the people—people that were willing to give us their time and people that were proud of their businesses. Since our move, we have shared candid conversations with these exceptional Cambrians while hiking the bluff trails, playing tennis on their courts, singing in the Community Chorale, shopping in the stores, eating in their restaurants, building scarecrow exhibits and even dodging ping pong balls at the Joslyn. And now I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to serve these business people with whatever skills I may have brought with me into retirement from my engineering & construction background. Thank You.​
My best memory of Cambria:
The sea shows us a different face every day, as we walk the Bluffs and Trails of Fiscalini Ranch with our dog Charlie. We are entertained at sunrise by the white owls, the weasels, the Blue
Herins, the cormorants, the sea lions, the deer, the turkeys… and even the skunks. And then in the late afternoon we sit on the beach to check out the tidepools, watch the waves crash over the rocks and watch the sun disappear. But of course, this is just the beginning for us.
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
It would be difficult to call out one place as a must-see in Cambria—being such a vibrant and special collection of talents and nature. There are the downtown shops on a lazy afternoon, coffee & pastries at your favorite shop, the vineyards & tasting rooms, the dozens of creative scarecrow displays, the artists & the artistry, the coastal cliffs, the Festival of Lights, and so much more, all to be found in one small close-knit community.

I want to be part of the planning of the future of Cambria and the tourism that comes with the rising popularity of the area. Cambria is a true unique artist community and it is a critical part of the town’s tourism appeal. I look forward to seeing the town and the artists blend even more in the future by coordinating more artistic events in town and making sure the town stays unique.
My best memory of Cambria:
The very first time I came to Cambria I had absolutely no idea of where I was going, I was along for the ride with my family. I was instantly drawn to the magic of the village and in particular Burton Drive in the East Village. We had a lovely day exploring the multiple artsy shops that once lined the street. We went wine tasting, had lunch and explored more shops. I made a wish to one day own a shop on this street. What can I say, Dreams come true.
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
Of course I am bias, Sweet Offerings…The Magical Candy Shop in the East Village is always my go to in the town.
The entire East Village is charming and has so many fun pockets of exploration such as the various dedicated green space and historical park. I always suggest sitting outside for lunch or dinner at Robin’s, Breakfast at Linn’s, a walk through the garden at Spellbound, Local Artists at Amphora Gallery, Jewelry from Casa De Oro, Staying on Burton Drive at either the Rigdon or Squibb and having early coffee and pastries from the French Corner Bakery. Chocolate, Fudge, Ice Cream and more from Sweet Offerings. I can go on forever about Cambria!

The best part of serving on the Board:
The best part of serving on the Board is having the opportunity to give back to a community that has given me so much. Cambria is made special by the people who live and work here, especially our small business owners, hospitality teams, and creatives who show up every day with heart and intention. Being part of the Board allows me to support, advocate for, and collaborate with those who help Cambria thrive. I value the thoughtful conversations, the different perspectives brought to the table, and the shared goal of preserving the character of our town while helping it grow in a healthy, sustainable way. It feels meaningful to be in service of something bigger than myself and to contribute to the long term vitality of this community.​
My best memory of Cambria:
One of my favorite memories of Cambria was spending my two-year anniversary here as a staycation with my partner. We made a conscious choice to experience our home as visitors, slowing down and savoring the little moments that often get lost in the day to day. From stargazing late into the evening to enjoying baked goods on the beach in the morning, every moment felt intentional and full of joy. It was a beautiful reminder of how special this place is and how lucky we are to call it home. That time allowed us to truly cherish our community and see Cambria through fresh eyes.
A must see place we enjoy here in Cambria:
The vista points at Leffingwell State Park are my favorite. I may be a little biased since it is so close to my job, but every moment out there feels uplifting and cinematic. The ocean views are expansive, the sunsets feel almost unreal, and there is always a sense of calm in the air. It is one of those places where you can pause, breathe deeply, and feel incredibly grateful to be exactly where you are. On a clear evening, it honestly feels like you stepped into a Hallmark movie, with the coastline glowing and everything just a little bit magical.
