Mayor’s Race/Inauguration Ball
It’s a Wrap! Our Chamber Board of Commerce and Executive Director would like to thank all who participated this summer in our Honorary Mayor’s Race and recently the finale Mayor’s Ball. While Del Clegg came out as the top vote getter, every one of the candidates, Barrett Stuart, Dianne Brooke (aka. Lady Ti Dye) and Jim Bahringer were also winners in this contest. Lots of votes cast meant lots of dollars raised for not only the Chamber but each of the candidates favorite charity. Thank you all for your stellar efforts to make this happen!
Our Mayor’s Inaugural Ball was a blast literally with sounds from the Vineyard Jazz Big Band filling the air on a warm balmy magical night. They kept many dancing in their roaring 20’s and 30’s dress up clothes of the era. Thank you, Randy Schwalbe for bringing your group to us. And our Master of Ceremonies, also known as the Village Wizard, Rick Bruce kept us wondering and laughing through the evening. Thanks to Linn’s for the yummy food. And thanks to the Cambria Lion’s Club for sponsoring us as a first time collaboration with our Chamber being included in the annual Pinedorado festivities.
It takes OUR village and we are beyond grateful for those who helped decorate and set up for the Ball in the Barn at Fog’s End. We look forward to next year. Look for posts announcing what will become an annual event.

Things are ramping up with the honorary Mayor's Race this summer of 2026. This contest has remained dormant for 18 years in Cambria and our Chamber decided to pick it up as a fun happening for our community and for other non-profit groups to raise funds. We would like to personally thank Kimberly Mastrantonio for her long term dedication as past Mayor. This contest is all in fun as the election that can truly be bought by dollars... Yes, one can vote as often and as much as one can afford, with each dollar counting as a vote. Scan the QR code presented below to vote online or visit our Chamber office to vote in person. Our winner will preside in many town occasions for the coming year as our “official but,unofficial “ presiding Mayor. There will be chances throughout the summer for our candidates to campaign. Some will have their own fundraisers for you to attend. There will be three Chamber Mixers where candidates are invited to campaign, and you can vote. Stay tuned for those dates and locations. And please come to the American Legion Post 432 “Picnic at the Park” celebration of our countries 250th Fourth of July. Candidates will attend in all their Glory under Old Glory to give their platform speeches and collect more votes. This is truly an election that can be bought! The honorary Mayor's Race closes on Saturday night, September 5th , 2026 with a gala patriotic event sponsored by Cambria Lions Club and the Cambria Chamber of Commerce. Final speeches will be made providing the last chance to vote. Winners will be announced midway through this spectacular evening of wine, charcuterie, and dancing to a live band. Save the date, a party not to miss! Be a super Patriot and plan to attend this lively evening and remember vote often.
