Old Creamery Road, Harmony CA 93435
Contact: Chris Dillow
Harmony, population 18, grew up around a dairy founded in 1869, reaching peak production in the 1920's, an era when William Randolph Hearst was a familiar face often stopping for dairy supplies on his way to his famed castle fifteen miles north. Dairy production ceased in the 1950's and the town was eventually discovered by area artisans becoming a haven for local artists. The family who acquired this charming town in 2014, are dairy farmer's whose mission is to preserve the historic creamery building and unique out buildings home to a famous pottery shop and a glassblowing studio. In town you will also find a vintage Divco ice cream truck scooping Harmony Valley Creamery ice cream, a coffee roaster, food truck, wedding chapel, and more!
