Piedras Blancas Light Station provides a glimpse into our nation's past when lighthouses served a vital role in maritime navigation. Today it is managed as a historic park and wildlife sanctuary. Tours are available by reservation only. The mission of the Piedras Blancas Light Station Association is to partner with the Bureau of Land Management to provide resources to restore and preserve Piedras Blancas Light Station to its period of greatest historical significance, provide educational opportunities to the public, and facilitate scientific research.
